There are very few of these around in Britain today, and the Steam Yacht was perhaps the original white knuckle experience when women wore stays, children swept chimneys, and the Boers were, well, just a bore!

Side by side the steam yachts swing in turn or individually with more propulsion than can be imagined. Although they look like gentile river steamers they swing with such force making them an instant hit for any funfair ride lover.
